Performance

The 2020 Toyota Tundra comes standard with the i-FORCE 5.7L V8 engine. This engine produces an impressive 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque.

In addition to the engine power offered by the Toyota Tundra, drivers have the option of selecting Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) or 4WDemand part-time 4-Wheel Drive (4WD). Drivers who prefer to have their Tundra equipped with RWD will also get the Automatic Limited-Slip Differential (Auto LSD) included as well.

This Auto LSD system can automatically apply brake pressure to individual wheels that have lost traction without cutting power to the engine.

Drivers who opt for the available 4WDemand drivetrain will have Active Traction Control (A-TRAC) on their side. This system, similar to Auto LSD, works to maximize traction. The difference in A-TRAC is that it works to optimize traction across the front and rear axles simultaneously rather than working to optimize each individual wheel.

Regardless of which drivetrain you select for your Tundra, you’re sure to be pleased.
