Award Criteria

Persons being nominated must be registered nurses licensed in Texas who have consistently shown qualities of compassion and service to either one organization or a variety of volunteer activities in one year.
  • Must have volunteered services within TNA District 9 counties and exemplified TNA’s purposes at the local level.
  • Nominee’s services adhered to the standards of nursing practice established by the ANA and adhered to the ANA Code of Ethics.
  • Services provided promoted and protected the economic and general welfare of nurses and community members.
